SOFO 10 year Reunion......

WOW, 10 years ago I graduated high school, I can not believe it's been that long!!!

My 10 year high school reunion was this past weekend and we attended. It was defintely not what we (Myself, Heather & Allie) had hoped for but we made the best of it. The three of us have decided that our next reunion would be in our hands and hopefully more than 25 people will show up!!!! Anyhow, we did have a good time and were able to see some old friends.

There were some memorable moments about the night, not so much at the reunion but on our way home, we (Allie, Heather, Eric, & myself) really did find out Jer is a "saint" and it was told told to us by a Dawson County offical. We will never forget this one!!! The five us had our own after party at a local pub which was quite intersting, watching all the cougars is great entertainment!!!

10 years has come and gone, now we have another 10 years to plan the next sha bang!!!

Spring Breakin it in 2010!!!

Ok I will have to say I am little old to be saying Sping Breakin it in 2010 but that's what we did. My girlfriends & I went to Destin for spring break, how funny is that??? A group of almost 30 year olds on high school spring break!!!!!

Allie, Heather, Trisha, Kim and I all went to Allie's condo for a long weekend. We had so much fun!!! We have been making this an annual trip for the past couple of years and we always look extremely forward to it because it's our time to be together and just let go for a little while. Our spring break consisted of a lot of reading, WOW we are old!!! A quote from Allie this weekend, "look at all of us sitting here just reading our books, man we are so old!!!" this comment was made while sitting on the beach!! If we weren't reading we were sleeping!!!! No high school spring breaker can top that!!!! LOL!!!!

We did happen to break out over the course of the weekend and it truly paid off!!! Thursday night we went to an Irish Pub for dinner, turned out it was ladies night so drinks were free from 10:00 til close. Yeah, we took real advantage of this we made it to one free drink and then we all wanted to go home and go to bed!!! Friday night we went to Baytowne Wharf which is a little community all in it's own. Shops, bars, restaurants and always a good time and a part of our trip! We start out at Steamers eating these enormous buckets of steamed seafood which are fabulous and from there we head to Rum Runners, a piano bar!!! Always makes for a great night with lots of dancing & singing!! We managed to stay out a bit later that night we were home at 12:45 and thank goodness because some of us were falling asleep in the condo elevator which was an awesome sight seeing event to say the least this year( this is an insider sorry to those of you who weren't there)!!!!!! Saturday we had lunch beachside at Back Porch (another tradition), slept on the beach, hit the outlet mall (spent way too much $$$) and then we had our very own pizza party (we made two incredible pizzas for dinner and they both grew these mysterious green spots while cooking, it was the garlic but it definitely got us to look closely) no kidding watch out Papa Johns here we come!!!

Oh Yeah, Is it time for another feeding???? We group of girls love to eat and this phrase was coined for us this weekend. Read, sleep, "is it time for another feeding" was pretty much our main thoughts for the weekend!!! It was wonderful!!!

Anyhow, thanks Allie for another wonderful time at the condo! It never fails to amaze me just how much fun we have together. I look back at middle & high school to fond memories and I love how we are all still close enough to spend long weekends like this together!! Like Kim always says, I hope we are still doing this when we are 80!!!! I love you gals!!!!

Braxton's first Spring Break!!!!

What a week!!!
Braxton was off from school starting this past Thursday & WOW have we had had fun!!! Friday Brax spent the night with his Grandma & Grandpa then Saturday & Sunday we had Easter festivities and this was all leading up to Monday the actual beginning of Spring break!! We started it out with a bang to say the least!!

Monday we went to see daddy at work and grandpa was there too so that was a plus!! Daddy rode Brax around on the forklift and Brax had a blast!!! It was really cute to watch B's facial expressions!! Then Grandpa chased him around the warehouse. Daddy took us to lunch at the Lawrenceville Airport so we were able to see airplanes take off and land while we ate! We as a family really enjoyed hanging out together at daddy's work, I know Brax said he wanted to go back real soon! From there Brax & I headed to the mall to do some summer clothes shopping, we had fun but not anywhere close to the fun we had at our next stop!! We went to our cousins, Kassie, Shannon, Gracie & Ryders, house for the afternoon. Talking about fun!! Brax rode a motorcyle for first time with Shannon, climbed a tree with Ryder, played with the water hose, jumped on the trampoline, made a new love/hate friendship with Elza( their neighbors child), had pizza for dinner and ate ice cream to wrap the night up. I do not believe the boy could dream of a better day!! All of the kids played so well together and really enjoyed themselves. I am so thankful to have family that loves to hangout.

Wednesday we went to Amicola State Park with Kim, Carly, Reed, Will, Carla, Madison, and baby Ella. We all had a great time. The kids played on the playgrund and Brax loved clogging the line on the slide!! We played in the river, it was so much fun. B had a blast and not to mention I got some really cute pics!!! We had a picnic and went to the waterfall!! It was gorgeous outside and we all loved spending time togehter! A great day to say the least!!!

Brax spent the rest of the week with his Nanny and Grandma becuase I went to the beach. Braxton told me he had a lot of fun at their houses while I was gone. He wasn't real specific on the events that took place but I am sure it went a little like "I want this Nanny or Grandma" and then Brax got it!!!!! LOL!!! Thanks to you both for helping out while I was out of town.

Easter

Easter was fun this year!! We had two stops, which meant twice the eggs!!! Yeah!!!

Saturday we went to moms house and ate way to much and hunted eggs! Brax got $31 in total, the kid racked up!! Mommy loves those types of egg hunts, I just wish they had them for adults!!!! He & Lane had so much fun together they yelled at the ducks, ate Popsicles, slammed the new screen door, and soaked up all the attention!!!! What more could a kid ask for!!! My aunt Nancy was really excited to about the egg hunt per facial expression!!! Silly Aunt Nancy!!!!

My Uncle David and my cousin Taylor had a really cute candid shot, so cute I couldn't resist!!! The other two in pics are my cousins Todd & Kristen, it was like pulling teeth to get them to take a pic, not sure why though becuase they are so cute!! I also posed with Taylor, my cousin, as you can tell she is a professional poser and yeah for me not so much!!! It was fun though!!!

We were also able to get some really cute pics of the family and our newest addition, Buddy, the dog. He is sooo cute and lovable. He is my uncle Tom's dog but Brax really wishes he was ours so that he would have a pool partner!!!

Sunday we went to church then to Granny's house. Brax had a ball here as well. I think he really liked aunt Faye's Bunny hop!!! That's a tradition that Aunt Faye and all of the kids MUST do before they hunt eggs!! It's really funny because she has this crazy hat and the little kids sometimes get freaked out about it!!!! Lots of candy was to be got and the kids wanted it all!!! Brax was able to get a basket full with the help of his cousins Kassie, Gracie, Carly and Tatum!!! I think Carly was more intersted in posing though as she did look really cute so I can't blame her, npt to mention she is such a teenager!!!

Braxton also had fun playing football with the bigger kids as you can see he already looks & knows the part, wow what a cutie, is that kid a model or what???

We had a great time with both families and more importantly this year I learned a lot more of the true meaning about Easter. Let me just say Thank you to our God for ALL that HE did and still does today because HE is a living God!!!
